“You Don’t Love her” by Kathy Brocks is freestyle. So, I did not write anything down on paper.
The purpose is that someone will speak up and say no to abuse in all forms. A murder never just happens. There is always something that precedes it. Most people over the age of 40 have seen friends, family killed or almost killed before their eyes. Most remember the weight of the blood as it splashed on to their faces and the smell of it. You remember hearing the barrel of the gun rotate as if in slow motion. You remember the first time you saw him hit her. You could feel the force of the hit from across the room. Adults, children, strangers witnessed it and no one said anything.
Say no to abuse, don’t participate, emulate or tolerate abuse of any kind. False accusation hurts those that are really being abused cause no one believes the reality. Contact your local National abuse hotline if you know of someone being abused, 1-800-799-7233
