My first attempt, I had no idea really this was what I was up to when I started. I was creating a new piece of background music for use with my favorite computer video game, but what I ended up with seemed worthy of sharing. The core of it is really two works by Paul Avgerinos: Dawn of the Gods, Pt 3 from Maya - The Great Katun and Well of Souls from Muse of the Round Sky. I incorporated a bit of my own guitar and some heavily altered flute to come up with this. I have no idea what the “rules” are but I hope I will hear some constructive critique and perhaps what, if anything, I may have done well.
