The scene has no dialogue
The traveler hesitates
unfolding a map of stars
And somewhere other sunsets blink
like so many scarlet and turquoise lovers
catching up to find each other

Persephone is released
The time-traveler waits
as the galaxy shifts
and is nowhere mentioned
The course has been set
He must go in
