This is part of the Stranded On Marmolada collaboration project.

Early in the collab process, KT had given me a project file with the different samples she’d come up with and I just ran with it. The collab itself wound up going in the other direction, and not much of this turned out to be all that useful, but I had this knawing feeling that it might be fun to have this as a kind of accidental offspring of the actual song.

Oh, and by the way, the term “Braindance” was coined by Richard d. James (aka Aphex Twin) so that he could avoid being tagged with the rather silly term IDM. Not that I’m comparing myself, of course.
