I was sort of having a thought about how writing on different instruments gets different results, not just because of the nature of the device, but also the nature of the player.

Because I’m a guitar player primarily, I’m able to iterate on ideas and explore variations a whole lot easier on that instrument than on bass and especially on keyboards. This means that songs written on guitar are going to have a lot more space to move around and explore, since I’m far more capable of doing that within my self-imposed limitations.
