I took a break for exactly one week and came back feeling weirdly anxious about getting back on the saddle.

This one was tricky to get started, with the bass in particular giving me trouble. I may need to just go back to using a pick when playing straight rhythms. Some of those rhythm guitars also took longer than you’d expect for as simple as they are. Just trying to get everything locked in.

The song was set to be a bit shorter than usual, then I stretched it out to 5 minutes with the outro, for fun. The way I played the part in the outro is how the tune sounded before I started thinking about the arrangement.
